JWOC 2013 Long: Maps and Results

jwoclong
Victory to Lisa Risby (Sweden) and Piotr Parfianowicz (Poland) took the victory in tough courses with many routechoice options in Czech Republic today. Sara Hagström (Sweden) and Ekaterina Savkina (Russia) took the other medals among the women – and Florian Schneider (Switzerland) and Andrey Kozyrev (Russia) among the men.

– I really like the terrain, I love hills, so it was absolutely perfect. It was hard to keep the right height and I also think it was hard to choose the route choices, Risby said in the finish according to the JWOC webpage.

The first start in today’s Marathon day was already at 09:30 CET this morning – nearly 7(!) hours later Piotr Parfianowicz came from a late start number and decided the mens class – pushing Florian Schneider down to second spot.

For more information, interviews and photos see the JWOC live webpage. Some photos from the finish line are already available from this page.
