Thierry Gueorgiou (Kalevan Rasti) won 26 seconds ahead of Johan Runesson (Göteborg-Majorna OK) with Oleksandr Kratov (OK Orion) in 3rd at 1:18. Thierry Gueorgiou won 4 of 22 legs and did less than a minute of mistakes.
As can be observed from the performance index curve below, Gustav Bergman (finished 4:35 behind in 17th) was the only runner able to match Gueorgiou’s speed. But with 2 minutes lost already to the first control, Bergman had no chance against the French. Both Runesson and Kratov had constant races, but at a level below Gueorgiou (although Runesson had some awesome legs; leg 9 and 15)..
