Thanks Rafael, I remember a similar discussion about an “uncrossable fence” in the EOC relay in Falun, 2012. The ISOM 201X final draft says: 301 Uncrossable body of water: For fairness reasons, it is forbidden to cross an uncrossable body of water.

Hello,

Yes, in forest you can pass a river with the black line around.
Like you can pass a marsh with that line also. Like you can pass an impassable cliff, and a high fence or wall…

Those are indicators of high and difficulty and not indicators of forbidden to pass or not.
Only when you have a purple line our out of bound symbol you can+t pass through.

According to GPS tracking, some runners crossed an “uncrossable river”, ISOM 304. Is this allowed? Were there instructions regarding this issue in the team meeting?
