EOC 2018 Middle Qual: Maps and Results

Switzerland dominated the EOC Middle qualifier with heat winners Fabian Hertner, Daniel Hubmann, Florian Howald, Julia Gross (all SUI).  Marika Teini (FIN) and Jana Knapova (CZE) won the two last heats – on a day where everal high-ranked athletes missed the finals.

The steep sloped with few features gave demanding orienteering challenged for the runners. Notably Gustav Bergman, Albin Ridefelt, Martin Regborn, Timo Sild, Gernot Kerschbaumer, Emil Svensk, Hannu Airila, Frederic Portin, Thomas Natvig Årstad, Yulia Novikova, Sarah Hagström, Paula Gross, Nadiya Volynska, Emma Bjessmo, Kirsi Nurmi and Anastasia Rudnaya all missed the finals.
