Was this requested by the TV companies so as to get an exciting sprint finish? I’m sure the runners will have been made aware of this at the arena passage – it looked pretty clear that Ohlsson was waiting for the sprint.

Looks as if the IOF really does want to reduce the sport to a cross country race…
