I just counted 10 more meters climb to the right. But I ran there 30 years ago, and I remember the forest was very fast.

Forgot to mention that the dark green is thorny bushes or blckberries which are IMPASSABLE. So leaving the control straight to the path (south or east) is NOT possible. You have to find the light green passage some 150m northeast of the control to reach the path (see Bruce Arthurs route).

And you have to take into account, that the runnability of the white in the Eucalypt forests of Victoria with its hard ground is as good as running on paths.
