Now a day after, I can actually access a seemingly working recording (did not have time to listen to the full coverage yet), although it is not the same of course now that it is not live. Further problems with the coverage to me:
– Reading for minutes ongoing the list of teams and their runners punching at a control is not value add. In fact quite annoying! Live results website does this for us, there is also on-screen live team list of punching.
– It seems like the commentators are not aware of any voiceovers that is being played/added to the coverage. So we have situations where an interview is played out whilst the commentators are continuing speaking – which means we can’t actually listen to either…

I would rather not even go into the list of things that seems to be missing in the coverage. Certainly nowhere near the quality of the Tiomila coverage this year…

The commentator isn’t very good at English (excellent vocab, but literally can’t talk, it sounds like he has something in his mouth / having a stroke), is unable to build a story or any excitement, asks the guests quite stupid questions, and is generally bad. The procuder is not prepared for what is happening; they have missed IFK coming through TV controls, put on pre-recorded interviews whilst the chasing groups is coming through TV controls, . This is a very bad production. I don’t know how they think this is worth 16 euros.
