]]> https://news.worldofo.com/2020/06/12/route-to-o-season-2020-day-90/#comment-131438 Fri, 12 Jun 2020 06:16:57 +0000 http://news.worldofo.com/?p=17092#comment-131438 From the Tyrving vs Halden comparison it is really surprising how much time was lost in the light green downhill to the field (compared to climbing uphill which Halden did), then the map does show that the hillside up from the lake could be slow, but it seems to have been even worse than that. Tyrving also loses time in the final logged field which should have provided a very easy attack direction into the control. For the rest of the leg Tyrving’s left/short route seems faster.
My conclusion is that with just 40 sec between the routes, it is very hard to determine this from the map.
