22:00 CET on Saturday Jukola  starts – the largest orienteering relay event in the world. 9 hours earlier at 13:00 CET the women start their relay – the Venla relay. Here you find all the information you need about the  Jukola and Venla relays.

Jukola 2013 is organized  in Jämsä around 200 km north of Helsinki.

Live TV/results/tracking/startlists
  • Live TV feed:  Jukola and Venla (via YLE, from 12:45 CET for Venla and from 21:50 CET for Jukola – see also Finnish language version)
  • Live results
  • There is GPS Tracking (for around 20 teams) on all legs. However, live GPS Tracking will only be shown on the TV feed – there is no separate tracking offered. On some legs there will be little tracking shown so that later runners will not see the forking etc.
  • Startlists: JukolaVenla (see also statistics by country)- startlists will be public for all teams from Saturday morning
  • Jukola webpage and competition information
Map and terrain

There are quite large height differences in the terrain, the highest hills offer climbing about 50 meters. The runnability is basically good, with only a few rocky places. The open rock areas are not very large. There are some signs of forestry work typical to commercial forests. Also, signs of gravel taking are visible in terrain and on the map, even though most of the gravel pits are already overgrown.
