Swiss and Swedish WOC selection races in Asiago area

Daniel Hubmann, Baptiste Rollier and Tove Alexandersson impressed in the Swiss and Swedish WOC selection races in the Asiago area this weekend. In today’s long distance Alexandersson (Sweden) won with 6.5 minutes ahead of Judith Wyder (Switzerland) – while Daniel Hubmann  (Switzerland) won the men’s class one minute ahead of Filip Dahlgren (Sweden).

Yesterday’s middle distance had the same winner in women’s class – this time Alexandersson won with 1:30 ahead of Wyder. In the men’s class Baptiste Rollier (Switzerland) was fastest – 2 seconds ahead of Fabian Hertner (Switzerland) with Daniel Hubmann in third. Best Swedish runner was Gustav Bergman in fourth.

The sprint race was selection race only for Switzerland – won by Daniel Hubmann and Judith Wyder.

Note that maps and courses from the long and middle distance races will not be made public until after the World Ranking races on June 1st and 2nd . The map from the sprint can be seen below.
