WOC Middle Qual: Map and results

WOC 2009 Women
No big surprises in todays Middle Qualification in the World Orienteering Champs in Miskolc, Hungary. The biggest surprise was maybe that the king of the middle distance – Thierry Gueorgiou – did not win the middle distance qualification – a first since 2001! For the athletes, it was good to get started and find the first controls in the Bükk mountains. The championships continue with Long Qualification tomorrow.

Most impressive today: The Swiss team. All 6 runners within the Top Three in their heat!

  1. “Check the live results for all runners (but not full names).”

What do you mean with that “but not full names”? When you click on a column heading you’ll see the full names.

  2. @Luri: Thanks! I was too stupid to notice. Good to know for the next days:)
