Videos from 10 different countries have been submitted to the Jukola video competition – and until June 8th it is up to YOU to vote for the best videos. Strongly guided by all the public votes, the Jukola video competition jury will make the final decision about the winners – which are to be announced at Jukola 2007. The best clips will also be broadcast between June 14th and June 17th on the two giant TV screens in the Jukola competition center.
International participants
In the spirit of the Jukola relay, the Jukola video competition has become a very international competition, with participants from France, Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Slovenia, Netherlands, UK, Finland, Poland and Sweden. The content is also very varied, from the parkour-inspired “Jukola Promotion Video” to the documentary spot “Fairplay in orienteering” which tells a story about doping. In-between, there is a variety of interesting videos – so you should just head over to the voting page and preview the videos!
Deliver your vote!
Follow the links below to take a look at the videos, and deliver your vote. You may only vote once in each of the two categories (IP address and e-mail address is logged, and will not used for any other purpose).
We hope to be able to draw a (few?) prize(s?) among all the people who have voted in the Jukola video competition – more information about this will be posted as soon as we know more!
The voting will close at Friday June 8th, 1200 CET. Note that if possible, you should base your vote on the full video quality (as seen full-screen when downloaded to the Veoh player), and not on the quality you see in your browser. If you still choose to vote based on what you see in the browser, please keep the video quality issue in mind.
