Follow the Sprint Qualification from 09:00 CET and the Sprint Final from 15:00 CET. The first gold medals in the World Orienteering Championships 2011 will be awarded in the afternoon in Chambery – in the final you will have all the live services you would want: Live TV, live results, live chat and live GPS tracking (the GPS-accuray will be poor due to narrow streets, but it will still be interesting to follow from home).
- There are three qualification heats for both men and women – but the heats are not official until after the start.
- 15 runners from each heat make it to the A-final – and there is no B-final. Thus there will be 45 riunners in the A-final for both men and women.
- The qualification is run in the morning – the women start from 09.00-09.30 – the men start from 09.35-10.18.
- The final is run in the afternoon – the women start from 15.00-15.45 – the men start from 16.06-16.50
