Map and terrain

jukola_old1

The terrain consists of North-South rocky hills (max 40 meters) and partly marshy saggings in between. Most of the terrain has many small details and partly limited visibility. There are some forest roads and the nearby settlements have caused a dense path network which is simplified on the map.

Jukola 2012 is organized  in Hakunila sports park in Vantaa, very close to Helsinki.

LiveBlog

World of O will again follow the Jukola and Venla relays with the popular Live Blog – and give you all the action and analysis as it happens. This will unfortunately be the last CoveritLive LiveBlog at WorldofO.com because CoveritLive just changed its pricing to be out of my league. Join in on the fun – and contribute with your comments. I need some extra moderators/admins to get through all of the night – please send me an email at jan@kocbach.net if you have the opportunity to help out! I can assure you that you’ll have more fun than watching alone.
