Gustav Bergman and Helena Jansson won the tricky and interesting middle distance race in Swedish League in Umeå Saturday.
Gustav Bergman did a technically very stable race and won 13 of 23 legs in the detailed, flat terrain. Jonas Leandersson and Olle Boström finished second and third – both are in the Swedish team for the World Cup in Norway/Sweden in the start of June.
In the women’s class Helena Jansson did yet another good middle distance race – having a significantly higher level than all the others. A mistake of more than a minute at the 12th control made the final results of the day look tight though – with Anne Forsberg in second one minute behind and Tove Alexandersson in third. Alexandersson did an unstable race with several mistakes early in the race.
Swedish League is decided in a chasing start Sunday. Find appropriate links here.
