WOC Middle Qual: Results

Thierry Gueorgiou (FRA), Baptiste Rollier (SUI), Mikhail Mamleev (ITA), Lina Persson (SWE), Helena Jansson (SWE)/Inga Dambe (LAT) and Anne Margrethe Hausken (NOR) won the qualification heats in todays middle qualification race on a rainy day in the Olomouc area. The finals will be in the same location with the men starting from 15.00 and the women starting from 17.30

Outsiders out of the finals

Some of the outsiders did not manage the cut to the final – in some heats it was quite tight to qualify with less than 3 minutes behind the heat winner to manage the cut. Notably Mattias Karlsson (SWE) is out after finishing in 19th spot at +3.48 – out with 46 seconds and Francois Gonon is out after finishing in 17th spot at +5.58 – out with 1.48 minutes.
