Vinogradova decided a very exciting World Games mixed relay for Russia. Minna Kauppi (Finland), Hanny Allston (Australia) and Elise Egseth (Norway) had a hard fight for the silver medal – Minna Kauppi deciding it for silver for Finland. Elise Egseth took the Bronze medal for Norway after beating Hanny Allston in the last part.
Sweden – one of the favourites with yesterdays Bronze medalist Linnea Gustafsson on the last leg – started together with Russia in the lead on the last leg, but lost 2 minutes already to the first control. In the end Sweden ended in 9th place.
Dmitry Tsvetkov, Julia Novikova, Andrey Khramov and Galina Vinogradova run in Russia’s winner team.
