[Updated with map] The last of three Swedish WOC selection races is organized in Dalarna today – a tough long distance race which will be interesting to follow with live GPS-tracking and live results.
The middle distance on Friday was won by French Thierry Gueorgiou and Danish Emma Klingenberg (photo above) – both are also very strong at the long distance and should be among the favourites today again. Gustav Bergman and Fredrik Johansson are among the Swedish favourites today in the men’s class, whereas Tove Alexandersson and Lena Eliasson are two of the top favourites among the women.
Update: Bergman is not starting – and neither is Fredrik Johansson (injury – can take some weeks). Thus the two biggest Swedish favourites are out.
My body is not responding the way it should ➡ No Swedish League Long distance today. A shame, as I was really looking forward to it!
