[Update: Now with WebRoutes and complete map] Silvermedalist from the sprint yesterday Ida Bobach (DEN) took the victory in the womens class a minute ahead of yesterdays winner Jenny Lönnkvist (SWE). Thus the two switched positions. In the mens class, Gustav Bergman took the victory with a fantastic race. 1:05:55 was 6 minutes below the stipulated winning time. Sören Bobach – the brother of Gold medalist Ida Bobach – took Silver more than 3 minutes behind Bergman.
In the womens class, Marika Teini (FIN) took the bronze, making the podium completely Nordic. Hubmann took the Bronze in the mens class – the only non-Nordic runner on the podium today.

The courses were challenging – both physically and technically – and the high altitude (1500-2000 meters) probably was problematic for some runners as well. Below you see the full course for both men and women – click to get it up bigger.

During the LiveBlog, we set up a few WebRoutes from the courses:
For the viewers, it was fantastic to be able to see the map and these WebRoutes before the event was finished – showing the course part by part. Thanks to the organizers for an excellent cooperation here!
